Ladies Night Out October, 12, 2017
The merchants and members of Main Street Medina and the Medina Historic District, with the support VCS Salon & Spa, and Skin Care Solutions, proudly announce the fantastic fall Ladies Night Out for Thursday, October 12th, from 5-8:30pm. Over thirty locally owned and operated businesses in the Medina Historic District will be open evening hours, and will feature great shopping deals, tasty samplings of specialty food products, mini-makeovers, and lots of fun. 
The October Ladies Night Out supports the Mary Grace Foundation, which provides those who have been affected by cancer with life necessities, so they can concentrate on battling the disease. VCS Salon & Spa will be doing services such as hair braiding and nail polishing for tips, and all tips will be donated to the Mary Grace Foundation. Eastwood Furniture will donate 10% of all sales from October 12-14 to the foundation as well.

Since 1968, this beloved fall drive-it-yourself tour of agricultural, educational or historical related stops is designed to interest and educate the participating general public about agriculture and the rural way of life in Medina County.

33rd Medina Candlelight Walk
November 17-19, 2017
The 33rd Medina Candlelight Walk, sponsored in part by Root Candles, The City of Medina, Plastipak, Great Medina Chamber of Commerce, Armstrong, and Main Street Medina, will be held November 17-19, 2017. Throughout the weekend, the shops and restaurants of the 9-block Medina historic district will be open later into the evening to welcome up to 50,000 local and visiting guests from around the region. The event is free to participate. Event details and a complete schedule will be available soon.
Wiederhold returns to Main Street Medina

The Board of Main Street Medina is pleased to share that Matt Wiederhold, the first executive director of the community revitalization program, has returned to the position. Wiederhold left in 2016 to pursue a career in fundraising and development with The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio, but returned as executive director of Main Street Medina effective October 2nd. He looks forward to bringing new experience in fundraising and grant writing to our program, and is thrilled to continue historic preservation and community development on the Medina Square.
